Concrete Driveway & Entry Coating

A coordinated gray coating gives an existing concrete driveway strip and covered-entry floor a refreshed appearance. Follow the surfaces from the earlier concrete finish through cleaning and preparation to the updated driveway and entrance.

What changed

This project renewed the finish on existing concrete surfaces around the garage and front entrance. The concrete driveway strip and covered-entry floor received a gray coating, while their existing layout and connections remained in place.

The photographs show the starting surfaces, preparation views and the gray finish alongside the existing asphalt, brick columns and entry edges.

The work, step by step

Stage 01

The existing driveway & covered entry

The project brought together a concrete driveway strip and the floor of a covered front entry. The existing slab layout, joints, garage connection and adjoining asphalt defined the surfaces included in the work.

These first views show the concrete before the gray coating, with cleaning equipment and hoses on site. The tan entry floor and driveway surface provide the starting point for the updated finish.

Stage 02

Cleaning & surface preparation

Preparation focused on the existing concrete surfaces. The lighter driveway and entry views show the condition of the slabs before the gray finish was applied.

The concrete sections, joints and boundaries with the asphalt, garage and entry edges remained part of the layout. The work renewed the visible surfaces while keeping those connections in place.

Stage 03

A gray finish for the driveway strip

The concrete driveway strip received a gray surface coating. The finish follows the existing footprint from the garage toward the street, giving that concrete section a more consistent appearance.

The adjoining asphalt and the existing slab divisions remain visible, showing how the refreshed surface connects with the rest of the driveway.

Stage 04

The finished driveway & covered entry

A coordinated gray finish continues along the covered-entry floor, bringing the entrance and driveway concrete into the same color scheme.

The final views show the updated entry floor and the full driveway strip beside the existing asphalt. The comparison sliders connect the earlier concrete surfaces with the new gray finish.

A coordinated finish from the driveway to the entrance

The gray coating connects the driveway concrete and covered-entry floor visually, while the existing slab divisions and adjoining surfaces remain part of the home’s approach.
