A fresh color for the entrance

Entrance Door Painting

Nashkov Group Construction LLC repainted this entrance door from a light color to red. The new color follows the molded profiles around the glazed panel and across the raised lower panel, giving the existing door a more defined appearance within the white exterior trim.

Before & after

Move the slider to compare the earlier light finish with the red painted door. The later photograph records the new color while protective masking remains visible around the glass.

The glazed panel and raised lower panel remain the defining features of the door. The change to red makes those profiles more prominent within the entrance.

Work included

This focused painting project renewed the color of the existing entrance door. The work covered the visible door face and its molded details, with protective masking at the glass edges shown in the photographs.

  • Protective masking around the glazed panel.
  • Repainting the visible exterior door face red.
  • Painting the molded profiles surrounding the glass.
  • Applying the red finish across the raised lower panel.

Stage 01

The earlier door finish and edge masking

The starting photograph shows the light-colored door with a tall glazed panel and a raised panel below. The surrounding white trim and adjacent windows establish the existing entrance arrangement.

Masking is already visible at the glass edges, recording the door during preparation for painting. This view provides the reference for the change in color.

Stage 02

Painting the door face and molded profiles

Red paint was applied to the visible door face, following the profiles around the glazed panel and the shape of the lower raised panel. These details carry the new color through the central door surface.

The painting updates the existing door while keeping its glazed and paneled design. The new red color creates a stronger visual definition against the white framing around the entrance.

Stage 03

The red door after painting

The later photograph shows the red painted surface across the entrance door and its lower panel. The existing glazing and silver-colored hardware remain visible within the updated door face.

Protective masking is still present around the glass in this photograph. It records the new painted color at that stage of the work.

Use the information and photographs on this page to explain the result you have in mind. From inspiration to your own project

Share your town and ZIP code, photographs of the existing area and the features you want to change. Identify any parts you want to retain and tell us whether materials have already been selected or purchased. Approximate measurements and access details help make the initial conversation more useful.

The condition of the property, the size of the work and the coordination needed with other trades determine the project scope. Any requirements for specialist review or local approvals should be discussed for the proposed changes. Materials, scheduling and pricing are agreed for the actual work rather than inferred from the photographs of a different project.

Discuss the next step

Contact the company to describe your priorities and arrange the appropriate review. The written scope should explain preparation, construction, finishing and any exclusions. If concealed damage or a requested change affects that scope, discuss the additional work before it proceeds.
